| In 1995 it was possible to purchase our present location at 51 Atkinson St. It was a former Sunoco gas station in sad shape with an ongoing federal fund cleanup to extract gasoline due to a slow spill that overtime contaminated the soil in the area. After several years of extraction and a total remodel of the property, including a full face lift, it has been possible to reclaim this property and put it back on the tax roles. Having lived around the corner it was satisfying to see the property being revitalized. I believe it has added to the town and neighborhood in many ways. |

Today we have two full time master electricians on staff. We have purchased many tools over the years to try and minimize the time it takes to complete work and to provide a top notch product while trying to keep labor to a minimum. As you all know the cost of tools, trucks, computers, insurance, gas etc. have all been on the rise. It has been necessary over time to increase rates to accommodate these increases. Be assured no increase is taken lightly and we are always looking for ways to cut the bottom line in order to remain competitive. Continuing education is on-going and due to the extra liability insurance and classes required to be up to date on all the codes and new equipment it has been necessary to institute two tiered billing. It has been particularly necessary to charge more for fire alarm work due to the increased expenses associated with this work.
Liability insurance and the cost of special schooling and test equipment have contributed to the higher costs associated with fire alarm work.
Currently we have close to 50 years of experience on staff. There are few things we haven't seen and fewer that we are unable to deal with properly. If we don't know we will get the answers we need.
| We have the ability to do a little ditch work with our Vermeer 2050 ditch digger. It can be a great time saver hence a money saver as well. If you need a line buried please give consideration to using our services. Please realize however that the digger requires that there are no stones larger than the width of the ditch, approximately 5-6". If there are, this will not be the proper machine to use. However, if your soil is sandy and/or has minimal stones, this machine can be a super time saver and very cost efficient. | |
Unfortunately my longtime secretary, Sue Laware, took a job close to her new home in N. Charlestown NH and is no-longer working for our company. It thus will be hit or miss in talking to someone "live" when you should call. I hope you will take advantage of using my answering machine, and leave a message. It is possible to page me if you have an immediate need or if you hate to use a machine to leave a message. Please don't hesitate to page me if you need my services immediately or if you would just like to talk to someone at that particular point in time. Otherwise, I try and return calls in the evening or the next morning at the latest after the day of the call or as soon as I check in during the day if possible. Please leave times when it would be convenient for you to receive my call back. Also please remember it is always OK and proper to e-mail me with any request you might have. I often check my mail during the day and always in the evening.
I hope to be hearing from you soon regarding your interest in our services!
Sincerely
Ray Chamberland
